violence. We approached Alexandria last year with our wishes to nominate her for Australian of the year. She declined due to an assault she was still recovering from. Alexandria was viciously assaulted in her home and suffered serious injuries.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD is a natural emotional reaction to a deeply shocking and disturbing experience. It is a normal reaction to an abnormal situation. Any human being has the potential to develop PTSD. The cause is external not internal. It is a Psychiatric Injury not Mental Illness.
It is not resulting from the
individual’s personality. In fact, any human being has the potential to develop
PTSD. It is extremely stressful, and may lead to burnout or stress break-down -
which is not the same as nervous or mental break-down; as stated above,
everyone breaks down under the stress of a life altering trauma that is deeply
wounding. Thus individuals suffering PTSD are injured, not mentally
ill. Essentially it is an Anxiety reaction made up of a cluster of symptoms from trauma as detailed in this article. PTSD indicates severe trauma and stress which
causes a weakness in the individual, and not the reverse. This is confusing for
mental health practitioners and laypersons alike. But the distinction is
important if mental health practitioners desire to assist a traumatized victim. Too often reactions which are normal under
excessive or prolonged stress are assumed to be signs of abnormality or
deficiency within the person affected, which may then be assumed to be the
cause of the problem rather than a consequence of it (this is sometimes referred
to as the "Mental Health Trap").
The diagnosis Complex PTSD comes from being
exposed to multiple traumas, sometimes small but causing cumulative emotional
damage over a long period of time. PTSD changes the diagnosed
individual’s life and greatly impacts the lives of those with whom they are
close and regularly interact.
The explosive rage, depression, isolation,
anxiety, cognitive difficulties, and lack of vitality combine to cause loved
ones to leave. But a strong support network is essential for
healing. Friends and families are an integral part of that network.
Trusting relationships are essential to
combat the dehumanizing effect of trauma. Many therapists practice
narrative therapy believing this is essential to overcoming the trauma. However
is not good for all who are suffering from PTSD because it forces them to
relive the events of the trauma, it has to be done on patient’s individual
cases. Some people do better never narrating the trauma and should
instead focus on coping techniques to deal with triggers.
A trigger is something that causes memory
flashbacks and intrusive thoughts of the previous trauma. Under extreme
or prolonged stress people of a previously very strong constitution may become
unassertive, over-anxious, compliant and unable to cope with even the most
trivial of stressors.
A person's reactions under stress may resemble symptoms
of mental illness - loss of emotional control, apparent over-reactions to
seemingly trivial stimuli, hypervigilance (e.g. being on constant alert for
further abuse) etc., may be mistaken for instability, irrational behavior and

It is important for supporters to provide a
safe physical environment, but also emotional safety and be willing to accept a
wide range of emotions. According to Maslow’s (1970) hierarchy of needs,
the being needs, the three higher-order needs, cannot be met until the
deficiency needs the four lower-order needs, are met..
This is critical to
relationship building, which will help provide the strong support network that
is essential for healing. Recovery requires a sense of power and
control.
All relationships should be respectful and empower the Patient to make
choices. The Patients symptoms and behaviors are adaptations to trauma, so
services should address all of the Patients needs rather than just symptoms.

A NEW land Mark study has found Antidepressants commonly prescribed for children and adolescents are no more effective than a placebo for treating major depression — and in some cases, can be downright harmful. Published in the Lancet, the research denotes the “first comprehensive comparison of commonly prescribed antidepressant drugs so far.” Medical researchers analyzed 34 pharmaceutical trials involving 5,260 participants ranging in average age from 9 to 18 years. People who can be suffering from PTSD or
complex PTSD are children who have gone through the trauma of child abuse,
domestic violence, child sexual abuse, trafficking, violence and adults who
have been through the same including abuse and violence, including rape, car accident, industrial accident.
A solider at war, or who returns from war and any sort of trauma or violence.
Children and adults resort to self-harm — cutting when underlying emotions are overwhelming.
The world leading expert on PTSD and Anxiety says that trauma from Domestic Violence is as great, or not greater than being at war. The trauma lasts a life time, there is no quick fix, recovery can last a life time also. It can not be rushed.
You could make five steps forward, and trigger would set you back six steps.

My name is Alexandria and i am a victim, and survived Domestic violence, not just as an adult; but as a child also. I survived child sexual abuse as a child. Domestic violence by my mother. Sibling abuse by my siblings. I didn't come from a poor home, just a middle class family.
I grew up my entire life fearful of my own mother. My mother is in her seventies, i now have nothing to do with her. She never changed, she is still abusive and controlling.
My step brother was the sexual abuser; 18 years old, i was 8 yrs old. He went onto to sexually abuse my two brothers. My mother hid the sexual abuse. My mother hid the domestic abuse.
Four years a go i confronted my mother about the sexual abuse, that i
told her about and the domestic violence.
She knew the sexual abuse happened, she told me not to tell anyone
else, don't cause trouble.
My mother's words to me after she shrugged her shoulders in a matter of a fact way, the way she would do smugly my entire life. She said "well it happened, get over it" that was her reply.
Still did not care, still refused to take responsibility for her actions.
I went on to marry a man who abused me in a marriage for over a decade. Psychically, Psychologically, sexually and Financially.
I also lost a child to domestic violence. More of my story is in those article link above.
I received zero, and i mean zero justice, form the courts.
Instead i was abused, intimidation, gasslighing for reporting the abuse, for standing up and taking action. Sixty breached of VRO's were ignored by the police and by the courts.
My injuries, the medical reports, were ignored by the police and the courts.
The death of my child meant nothing to them.
So my abuser, my then husband was given a license by the police, and the courts to keep abusing me anyway he wanted, with zero accountability. This happens to millions of victims of abuse world wide.

Now you

Family Court — Broken Justice Article. This is me, this is millions of victims of abuse world wide. This is what is happening around the world to victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape and child abuse. Broken Justice. Treated as disposable garbage by a justice system so broken and corrupted that victims don't matter anymore.
Below are other women's stories who have broken the chains of abuse. Their story of survival is my story, and millions of others around the world story, of breaking the chains of domestic violence and abuse.
The hardest thing you will do as a victim of domestic violence is to survivor, then to leave; to break the chains of abuse, then speak about it. Speaking about it is like you relive it all over again. You are never alone, remember this.

The Family Court system has become The Judge — Jury and Execution of families. This corrupt illegal system created by Government is not only destroying families, it is destroying and taking lives. How many times have we seen in the media articles where a parent has taken not only their lives but the lives of the children as well, because of what the Family Court system has done to them.

Courts’ resistance to believing abuse allegations is fueled in large part by the theory of “parental alienation,” A new study has focused on deconstructing this theory by the courts. We have to point out, the courts are not Psychologist, Clinical or Forensic Psychologists, and have no medical training to make such judgements. Those judgements are based solely on their gut and any such judgement they make is illegal. Again we are seeing abuse of Power by the Family Court.
Coercive control.
Domestic abuse is ongoing, purposeful behavior that is aimed at dominating one’s partner, and often one’s children as well. It is also referred to as coercive controlling violence or simply, coercive control. That is a very quick summery of Coercive Control, a detailed description is further in this article.
But this control is not only being done by the victims abuser, it is being done by the Court System.
How many times have we seen a Justice make Psychological remarks or decisions of a case? We have lost count.
The Justice or whoever is presiding over a case is breaking the law in doing so.
They have no qualifications to make such judgements, none.
They never went to medical school, they don't have a Psychology degree, let alone a Forensic, or clinical Psychology degree, they have no legal right to make any judgements based on their own thoughts or gut.
But they do this everyday in cases.
Have you ever been called Mental in the Head, or you have Psychological issues, when you have been involved in Family Court proceedings? I am sure you have been.
This is called Defamation, slander, Defamation of your character by the court.
The court needs to be made accountable for this Abuse of Power.
You go to the Family Court for justice and you leave being abused, verbally, Psychologically, threatened, financially ruined, you may already have Anxiety because of abuse or even PTSD, if you haven't now, you will have by the time the Family Court is finished with you.
The Family Court System has now become your new abuser.

New medical research has found conclusively that PTSD The cause is external not internal. It is a Psychiatric Injury not Mental Illness. And can be from any trauma, or violence, or accident. In summary the Family Courts are ignoring scientific medical findings of PTSD, and Anxiety, leaving themselves open to criminal negligence law suits by the victims who are ignored justice by the Family Court. We have victims of domestic violence living on the streets, or in cars, or a shelter if you are really lucky, or having to flee with their children, go into hiding because of the Family Court. WOMEN spend longer sleeping rough or in crisis accommodation when they are homeless than men. Melbourne University’s Melbourne Institute new report. They are in crisis care because of the court system failing, them, the system so broken and corrupt, this is the result. The Family Court are responsible for this, they are responsible for your children being abused, Psychologically, financially abused and damaged for life. The conclusive medical studies have found this.
The Court system are ignoring the violence and abuse, they are ignoring the sexual abuse of adults and children. They are ignoring the medical reports, Psychologists reports, ignoring the Violence Restraining orders. Abuse of Power. Ignoring and abusing Rule of Law.
We are going to use this case as a perfect example of using Coercive controlling factors, abuse, Psychological abuse by an abuser. Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp the abuser, yes he is a typical abuser, his moves are all in the abusers handbook. This is a typical ploy by an abuser's lawyers. It is a Psychological move. This happens to victims of abuse world wide. The abuser, the actually one who has the VRO against them for being the violent one; will say to the victim , if you have a VRO taken out on yourself then i will do such and such. Many cave in because they have been through so much torment, and Psychological abuse already, and all they want to do mostly is protect the children. The abuser never abides by the VRO, it is a game. Psychological Warfare. Then later down the line they try and use the VRO you agreed to have on yourself, when you have done nothing wrong as the non violent partner, against you. This is a typical strategy by Lawyers, Psychological, Financial abuse and gasslighting. Amber Heard rejected an offer of spousal support because it included a restraining order against her and she says she was never violent.
Kelly Rutherford the actress is a perfect example how the legal system is broken and corrupted; broken justice. Her ex husband had the money to buy the legal system, and that is exactly what he did. Even when you leave an abusive relationship coercive control is still used over the victim and the children. It is used by the abuser, and it is used by the courts.

What coercive control looks likeDomestic abuse involves repeated, ongoing, intentional control tactics used by one partner against the other. Those tactics may be physical, sexual, economic, psychological, legal, institutional, or all of the below. They often include:
Unreasonable and non-negotiable demands.
Stalking – surveillance and unwanted contact.
Cruelty.
Destroying the partner’s other relationships and isolating her/him from friends, family members, co-workers and others.
Restricting daily activities.
Coercion – a combination of demands, threats of negative consequences for noncompliance, and surveillance.
Manipulation through minimization, denial, lies, promise etc.
Threats and intimidation.
Excuses, rationalizations and blame.
Stifling the partner’s independence.
Controlling partner’s access to information and services.
Sexual abuse and violence; reproductive coercion.
Economic control and exploitation.
Courts, and in particular The Family courts, must begin to recognize the patterns of abusive protect the needs of domestic violence survivors. Survivors need to believe that they can report domestic violence, and seek police protection without the fear of legal repercussions that may cost victims time, money, their health and peace of mind. Protection orders are a critical component in enhancing the overall safety of domestic violence survivors. However, protection orders can only be effective if the enforcement of those orders result in tangible consequences for batterers. A victim of domestic violence should not have to be subjected to more abuse, and Psychological abuse by having to confront their abuser in the court. The abuser sees this a way to gasslight and abuse the victim all over again. They use this as a game, to play cat and mouse with their victim, including the children. The courts are allowing this abuse to continue.
What Society in General, and of course our Governments have to realize, and start paying attention to is; The Family Court is costing society billions-trillions of dollars. Their actions are responsible for victims of their corrupt court system living in poverty, living on the streets. Mentally and Psychically, Financially broken. This puts pressure on so many services, to which now the victims and their children have to rely on. Medical services, housing services, just to name two. Its about time our Government's woke up to the cost of the Family Court system, which is so broken, so corrupted, is having on Nations, and Societies world wide.

National Institute of Justice Research Study Domestic Violence and Custody Cases. This may be a USA study but its the same world wide. Full Article link Here Joan Meier, a law professor who runs GW’s Domestic Violence Project, earned a grant this fall from the National Institute of Justice to try to show that courts across the country have fallen into a trend of awarding custody to an abusive parent, even after the other parent warns the judge about the possibility of abuse.
The Court is playing God with your life, and your children's lives. The Ego's of many of the Justices, Registrar's Magistrates presiding over the cases, has become so big, they are abusing the law, and the entire system.
Clinical Professor Joan Meier bridges theory and practice in her work on domestic violence, which focuses on courts’ responses to mothers who seek to protect their children from an abusive father, in the context of a custody battle.
Courts’ resistance to believing abuse allegations is fueled in large part by the theory of “parental alienation,” which presumes, with little basis, that such allegations are merely a means of “alienating” children from their noncustodial father.
Meier’s scholarship has focused on deconstructing this theory, through historical and case analyses; her most recent research in progress, seeks to develop an empirical basis for the gender bias critique, through analysis of all published appellate custody decisions involving alienation and abuse claims.
Empirical Research Following Pilot Study Expected to Confirm Gender Bias in Court Licensed Abuse Cases“Parental Alienation” Used Almost Exclusively to Take Custody Away from Protective Mothers reporting abuse on behalf of the minor children.
Australia’s family law system is “the most dangerous institution for our children in this country”, according to a damning new report. We have called for a Royal Commission in to the Family Court system for five years now. We have been working with Senators and legal minds to make this happen. George Brandis is blocking this, he is protecting the corrupt justices who are on the list complied to him, with corruption within the Family Court System.
Justice Thackray from Western Australia is on that list. There are hundreds of documents supporting the corruption of Judge Thackray head of the Family Court Western Australia. How he can be brought off, and how he has perverting the course of justice. We have expressed to George Brandis that criminal charges have to be laid against Judge Thackray and he has to be immediately stood down from his office of the courts. George Brandis has ignore this request and is impeding in a criminal investigation. We are going to start putting a list of judges in our article on the Family Court Broken Justice, that have been named in a detailed investigation to George Brandis and the Senators.
We also want criminal charges brought against these Justices, Magistrates and Registrars as well as criminal charges brought up against George Brandis. Under the law George Brandis The Attorney General can not hold office, and is in violation of the Criminal act by doing so. He is under criminal investigation. Under the Australian Criminal Code any Government official under investigation, and this also extends the Courts, they can not hold office, and must be immediately stood down. They can not be transferred to any other Government body of the Government, without pay. That is the law. We wrote to George Brandis and all he did was make the crimes of the Family Court even worse, by his new Family Court Domestic Violence Bill. The bill is a complete joke and violates laws and Human Rights Laws.
EQUITY AND DIGNITY AN AFFILIATE OF THE FIRST WIVES ADVOCACY GROUP This is a group that has formed in the USA to make the Family Court Accountable. We have been asked to join the women's coalition group to take this fight global, which we have. A world wide petition is now being formed, to support the global revolution against our Governments. Now you have the entire picture why Domestic Violence, child abuse, sexual abuse and homelessness is ignored in Australia by the LNP Government and Malcolm Turnbull. Why he and Tony Abbott ripped the $300 million from the domestic violence budget, closed shelters, took away legal funding, and the same funding was ripped away from mental health, and homeless. His Grand plan is to profit from these crimes, from the suffering of millions of people, the death of children and victims of abuse. Absolutely Disgraceful. Only a monster would do this, and more monsters supporting this disgusting greed.
Here is a perfect example of Broken Justice in the Family Court System when it comes to violence. This is just one case there are literally tens of thousands more cases very similar to this one. Three judges in the Family Court have questioned why an abusive father who bashed his partner and held a samurai sword to his daughter's chest was granted access to the child by the same court. An eight-year long dispute between the parents, given the pseudonyms Ms Tindall and Mr Saldo, took an extraordinary turn on Friday when three appeal judges said their colleague, Justice Margaret Cleary, appeared to underplay and ignore the history of violence in the relationship. In a judgment delivered earlier this year, Justice Cleary ordered that Mr Saldo be granted monthly access to his nine-year-old daughter following his release from jail.
