Sex traffickers, human traffickers, pedophiles, organ traffickers....they quite often have a type they seek out. Sometimes that may be for a special order of a child, person, or for organ stealing.

Just this year in Australia alone on toddler was taken from his grandparents yard, he has never been seen again, there is no information to go on, the police have nothing.
