MYTH — If someone acts “fine,” they can’t be a sexual assault, sexual abuse, child abuse, domestic abuse, sibling abuse victim. WRONG — victims hide the abuse including children. You hide it out of shame and fear and even because of suppressed memories . 
Because you don't report your abuse right away you are lying, making up abuse. WRONG
Because you didn't tell anyone you must be lying about your abuse. WRONG

Abuse does not discriminate, it never has. It effects all sexes all ages, all genders, all religions and social statues.  

Because you didn't leave its your fault. 
You must have done something to piss them off, so its your fault they hit you, child or adult. WRONG
An abuser will use many control factors over a victim; child or an adult. It is never your fault as a victim of any abuse.
If you have children they use the children, they will use threats, death threats, threats to another person, threats to your pet, financial abuse, psychological abuse, Degradation, isolation; are the most common.

Because you cant remember the exact day, month, year, what you had for breakfast that day, you are lying. WRONG

When you have also gone through a physical or emotional trauma, your brain goes into fight —flight —freeze mode. This is the simplest way to explain this.
Your brain experiences a massive biochemical change, that you have no control over.
Floods of adrenaline and cortisol to your bloodstream, and a cascade of physiological events, such as increased heart rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure; suppressed immune and digestive functioning; dilation of the pupils and shifting of attention to a vigilant state; which means you will look down or around when talking, or even have a blank stare.

Screaming and yelling at your child and hitting your child; is abuse. It is Psychological and physical abuse. 
Verbal abuse is child abuse, and those scars last for life for a child and can have long lasting health effects. Anxiety and PTSD.

Verbal abuse to an adult is also abuse, it is also Psychological abuse by the words and actions of the abuser.

Anxiety, PTSD, anorexia, cutting, OCD, high bloody pressure, binge eating, heart attache, health problems, even cardiomyopathy which is a heart condition; from anxiety from being a victim of abuse. Children and adults resort to self-harm — cutting when underlying emotions are overwhelming.

Sexual abuse, abuse, sibling abuse, domestic abuse awareness is every single day. Much more education is needed within family units, within our society, and Governments.
Silence and a Diffusion of responsibility hides that violence and abuse. This is something we are always speaking about and write in our articles.
The right educators are needed, sadly that is not happening. 
We need Psychologist who specialize in abuse, who understand all the Psychological, and medical issues that can arise because of abuse — all abuse including sexual abuse. 

At the moment we have too many people standing in the media miss-informing about abuse, their words are actual inciting violence and abuse, degradation of the sexes, degradation of victims and survivors of abuse, they are also victim blaming.
We have people claiming to be advocates to end abuse, yet they are being condescending, degrading, victim blaming to victims of abuse, and especially to those with medical agrees and who also specialize in abuse.
The amount of times we have been abused, because as professionals we raise awareness, is disgusting. 
We have had words with many who we have caught doing this.
They are UN-educated about all aspects of abuse. Their words and actions are doing far more damage than good, they are costing the lives of real people, and they are so Narcissistic they can not even see this.
Again we see this dangerous practice of people looking to make a quick buck of abuse; Unbelievable.
And you should absolutely not be making money off abuse.

Why he and Tony Abbott ripped the $300 million from the domestic violence budget, closed shelters, took away legal funding, and the same funding was ripped away from mental health, and homeless.
